Electro-Dermal Screening
Electro-Dermal Screening is a computer based system of examining the body for inflammation or deficiency. In layman's terms it is a physical from a Chinese point-of-view.
Using Chinese acupuncture points known and recognized for thousands of years, energy levels are measured and recorded as they relate to various organs and organ systems. These readings will relay information from the body about balance, inflammation, or deficiency.
How do you read energy levels?
As its name implies, a micro amount of electricity is applied to the body by the client holding a small, metal rod in the palm of his/her hand. This energizes the acupuncture points and makes then easier to read. A small, flat-tipped probe is then used to read the corresponding acupuncture points.
Does it hurt?
No! The amount of electricity is so small, that it is undetectable to the human touch. Needles are never used in electro-dermal screening, so the skin is never pierced, or punctured.
Specific points are used on the hands and feet, which mean that, aside from removing your shoes and socks, you don't even have to get undressed!
Who can be tested?
Anyone can be tested, no matter how young or old they are. However, individuals with pacemakers will not get accurate electrical measurements from the test, and should therefore seek alternative types of testing such as Applied Kinesiology, which is also available.
What kind of benefits can I expect from the test?
Through the CEDS Testing, specific deficiencies in vitamins and minerals can be found and corrected. The immune system can be built up and the body can be helped through detox. Balance can be achieved between organs and glands of the body.
What do I need to do to prepare for the test?
It is simple. Bring all the supplements, vitamins, minerals, and/or prescriptions that you are currently taking with you for the appointment. DO NOT wear any lotion or oils on your hands or feet the day of your appointment.
Please remove any devices with a battery such as a watch or cell phone.
What is the cost for the screening?
The test will take approximately 1 1/2 to 2 hours and will cost $250. Rechecks are $175. Any supplements that become part of your specialized program will be charged separately.
Supplement cost averages about $75 - $150 per month depending on energy levels.
